February may be the coldest month, but Nightmares on Wax warmed things up a bit this year with the release of Passion (Edit), the advance, download-only single, from their forthcoming release In A Space Outta Sound.
The single is characterized by the same elements that have made NOW a downtempo staple since the early 90s. Passion contrasts the indignant funk of icons such as Curtis Mayfield with the smooth melodies of Quincy Jones.
In A Space Outta Sound is being released in the UK today (March 20, 2006), to coincide with the launch of their UK tour.
